Foundation Music
Our Foundation Music Programme is a fun, non-pressurised entry point for young children to explore the world of music. This programme introduces fundamental concepts and builds core musicianship through:
Rhythm and Movement: Engaging activities including clapping, movement, and musical games.
Aural Skills: Developing listening and pitch awareness through singing and call-and-response.
Instrument Exploration: Experimenting with sound and texture using percussion instruments like drums, shakers, and xylophones.
Vocal Programme
Our vocal programme for 8 to 12-year-olds offers a fun and supportive environment for developing young singers. It is designed to nurture fundamental vocal technique, build confidence, and introduce participants to group performance in a variety of styles..
Vocal Technique: Participants learn core skills, including proper breathing, posture, and pitch control, essential for healthy singing.
Ensemble Singing: A major focus is placed on harmony and blending as part of a group, preparing children for choral or ensemble performance.
Repertoire: We explore a wide range of musical genres (e.g., pop, traditional, world music) to keep children engaged and expose them to diverse musical traditions.
Confidence & Expression: The programme encourages self-expression and stage presence, helping young people find their voice and feel confident performing.
Large Group Instrumental
Our Large Group Instrumental Programme is a high-energy introduction to performance designed for primary school classrooms. Led by professional Musician Educators in a variety of instruments, this programme transforms students into a collective ensemble, making music accessible, social, and fun from day one.
Instrumental Skills: Introduction to correct technique, posture and dexterity.
Performance & Song: Learning to play and sing along to a contemporary repertoire of popular songs.
Musicianship: Building a foundation in rhythm, tempo, and theory through interactive challenges.
Ensemble Playing: Developing social skills by listening, keeping time, and performing as a unified band.
Small Group Instrumental
Our small group tuition offers a supportive and social environment for students to dive deeper into their chosen instrument. With a maximum of three students per group, our professional Musician Educators provide high-quality, personalised instruction that focuses on technique, musicality, and the joy of playing together.
